To film or not to film (violent acts) is the question (suspect, death)

You now see so many violent acts such as fights, rapes, accidents, etc being filmed and placed on social media.

Many of times, these videographers are not getting involved to prevent serious bodily arm or death. But on the other hand, these video footages have aided in the apprehension of many suspects.

So what says you? Do you record and watch a person being kicked in the head to near unconsciousness or do you put the camera down and render assistance?
