There was three major mistakes. 1)They moved too fast without enough planning for what to do after they got there to secure the Iraqi population and it's institutions, there was no in charge of Iraq 2)Once there they dismantled the Iraqi Army. 3)Dismantling the Bathist party.
Gee, ya think? Ya also think lying the country into a war for a fairy tale threat of WMD's might have been a wee bit of a mistake in its own right?
Of course, it was a textbook approach on how not to win a war in the Middle East that Dick Cheney engineered, but somehow this man still has legitimacy with the wingnut rightwing in this country.
His lies have been exposed, his ineptitude and utter failure in war planning has been dissected and debated, and somehow people think the man has a shred of credibility. He and Bush have secured their legacy as the worst President and Vice President in United States history.

The stock market climbing, which is because there isnt money saved elsewhere, like savings accounts, and stocks can climb during horrible economies, such as massive company layoffs..

In other words, they were no longer WMD. All chemical agents have a limited shelf life. Didn't Bush's intelligence know this?
How would Bush know this if inspectors were never allowed in?
