who would you rather see in charge? Dictators such as Khaddafi, Mubarak, al-Sissi, Assad?............or ISIS?

This appears to be the choice nowadays. I choose the former!

Yes, it does, and as a Bush supporter, this was a big mistake on his part. Saddam also kept the riff raff under control, and was better than what we have now in Iraq (ISIS controlling 1/3 of the country)

The middle east will not change until the people there evolve from the stone age to the present.

The 1 thing that stands in their way is : Islam.

It's not your choice. You don't live there.

Do you think the anarchy in Iraq that led to ISIS would have happened with Saddam in power?

So, the cure for spending so much money and time is spending MORE money and time there?

Let's just leave, let the countries of the region either learn to live together or die together, time to take care of our own problems.

Psychopathic strongmen vs radical islamists. That is the choice in the Muslim middle east. The only exceptions have been in countries with military traditions, but even in that situation, the military takes control of a radicalizing government every 20 years or so.
