No room at the inn for innocence

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — The children gather at dusk on the pitted motel parking lot, hard against the sound wall of the freeway. They kick a scuffed soccer ball and play with the stray dogs they have rescued. One holds a cockroach he pretends is a pet turtle.

In California, a higher percentage of children are homeless — 5.7 percent — than all other states but Alabama and Mississippi, according to the National Center.

No room at the inn for innocence

Yet some claim the U.S. is the greatest country in the world!

A cycle of druggie and drunken parents who aren't role models and can't guide their kids.

The motel in the article:

So irresponsible sex and parenting is the fault of country and state that is represented by the people through voting. I don't get the point. Parenting is a right and a choice. Nobody forced them to procreate. With rights come responsibility. Another sad fact of life, Children with no home, due to irresponsibility.

Maybe we should just put those kids in prison before they commit the crimes. No reason to waste the room or money to educate them.
WOW !!! MAYBE I'm catching on to this globalist mentality that wants a population of farm animals and not thinkers.

Maybe we can learn something from the kid and his cockroach. Treat the kid like the pet. Our little cockroach. But just crush him and take another step to the third world status we aspire too. It would be the right thing to do - wouldn't it ?

Just saying America has the sorriest/trashiest bunch of alcohol and drug addicted lowlifes, [that don't even care for their children] on the planet.

Yeah. Screw the children. This won't create a cycle of welfare or incarceration.

Instead of Abortion[baby murder]..... wouldn't it be better for people to stop "whoring" around, which still spreads disease?

Yeah, maybe. Except it ain't gonna stop. Baby murder huh? That poor thing will never know what it's like to be homeless ... even though a 1st trimester zygote / fetus isn't even sentient.
