Sounds reminiscent of King George III and the colonists.
LOL. Yeah, sure it does.
Don't forget. If you're black, you not only have to obey the law, but if a police officer tells you to jump, you ask him "How high?" otherwise you might get shot, and being an ill-mannered black man, you will deserve it.
You right-wingers are hilarious. How's life in that tiny little bubble?

Darlin, my Daddy was in law enforcement and I grew up knowing it doesn't matter if you are purple, if you are stopped by a cop you keep your smart mouth shut. Chip on your shoulder?
Precisely why the "Progressives" (which includes all Democrats) hate the 'Tea Party' and anyone who describes themselves as "Conservative," and especially Ted Cruz, who has them wetting their pants now that he has announced he's running.
The "Progressives" are losing ground, and they know it. They are panicked. This is why the increase in the smears against all Republicans, but especially those who lean further right; i.e., the Constitutionalists.
"Progressives" hate the Constitution, because they think it is "outdated" and not suitable for the modern era, which is why they began referring to it (beginning with Woodrow Wilson) as a "living document," which allows them to interpret it in any way that suits them. The Constitution limits the power of the State, which is anathema to them, because "Progressives" are collectivists who believe that the government should be used to affect social change ("social justice," "economic equality," "economic justice," etc.). They believe government "experts" should be employed to determine the needs of society, and manipulate the economy through monetary policy and regulations to achieve what they deem best.
But, "Progressivism" is in direct opposition to human nature, the desire of the individual to determine his own path (self determination), and do what he thinks best for him (Liberty). Indeed, "Progressivism" is an oppressive ideology, which stifles human achievement.
Human achievement is maximized when Liberty is maximized. Where there is limited Liberty, there is also limited entrepreneurship, an economy languishes and there is civil unrest.
The American Dream is the freedom to self determination, and the opportunity to rise to whatever level ones education, skills, and drive for success will take them. I believe there is a renewed awareness in America of the false hope that "Progressives" like Obama and the Democrats are peddling.
There are a lot of "quotes" in this "post."
I can't "support" Ted Cruz because I'm a "birther." The guy was "born" in Socialist Canada, and his father came from Commie heartland Cuba. I "demand" to "see" his "birth certificate."

Yeah, "LOL" always indicates a chip on one's shoulder.
Keep your mouth shut? Now who sounds like King George? LOL.
Okay, tory. And I was merely pointing out the attitudes I encounter on this forum. What was that about King George, again?
King George enacted unfair laws. The Constitution theoretically gives the American people protection against oppressive government. There are many people who feel the government(aka the present King George)is chipping away at those protections. Sorry if I sounded confrontational

Lots of people feel lots of things. Partisans always feel oppressed when their party isn't in the White House. Doesn't make it so. Since I don't steal, murder or mutilate, about the only laws that I encounter every day are traffic laws. That hardly equates to "affecting every aspect of my life." It's nonsense.
