Indeed, it is always sad to hear stories of neglect or abuse of children by their carers.

Even sadder to see someone like the OP use cherry picked stories of neglect and abuse to serve an anti homosexual agenda. When in fact the stories in the OP have nothing to do with homosexuality, or marriage.

Maybe I should start a thread called: "kids raised by bad parents complain that parents are allowed to raise kids".
Yes, I would think the fact that child sexual molestation and physical abuse of children occur among heterosexual parents would be a strong clue to the fact that we are talking human beings and parenting success and failure.

Oh, SuperSoul. Your Homosexuality: Illogical and Harmful thread finally petered out, to you decided to rehash it with this thread?

First, the source you cited is not an independent news organization like AP, it's an explicitly conservative perspective. Second, that's a very small sample of children raised by SS parents. If you search hard and far enough I'm sure you can find a handful of Jews who think Hitler was great.

Okay, everyone, please listen to me: Ignore this thread! I'm not sure why she started it (again), but her posts clearly demonstrate she's a homophobic bigot. Trying to debate her is like trying to debate a wall. Just ignore this thread to it will die the quick, irrelevant death it deserves.

No they don't. They reveal that one can always find a few anecdotal examples that can be held up before the foolish as illusory proof of a falsehood.

There are adult convicts doing hard time who were raised by clergymen and judges, but that is not proof that clergymen and judges are a class of people unsuited to be parents..
