Sorry, but I agree that there are alternatives to stealing -- food banks, relatives, religious organizations, begging.
I personally could not refuse a mother, baby in tow, who asked me if I could spare enough money for her to buy some formula (in which case, I would actually buy it for her). I also could not refuse any friend or relative (or even neighbor), in which instance I would buy a CASE for her or him -- unless I knew that s/he would just turn around and sell it, or if I knew that she was abusing welfare benefits in some way (in which case s/he would receive a severe tongue-lashing from me before I relented and bought enough for just a week).
LOL. Your screen name makes your response especially ironic. Apparently you care.
But your response represents whats good about many of the folks in our nation.
Apparently unlike you, I do believe in not letting babies starve. I mean really thats my argument. In one of the biggest and wealthiest countries in the world, we should never argue for letting babies starve.
Apparently you disagree. Good for you, this nation was built on arguments and reason.
You always make these arguments that OTHER people should make our nation better. Not you. nope. you don't want to be part of a nation, you just want the benefits near as I can tell.
In many ways I find that a worse attitude then the people who ARE leeches. Te ones that say "why work when others can work for me?" I am not a fan of those folks. But at least they are honest about it.
Funny I DO send people like this money, I contribute to food banks. I also currently am housing two folks who would otherwise be homeless today. One for just tonight, the other has been here for a couple months....and to be honest I expect her to die from a neurological issue within a year or two. She will be out when she gets her social security.
So hey Petch and pghquest, what have you done lately? Helped people? been part of your community? Or just sat on your money screaming "mine! mine! mine!"

I actually do a lot to help my community, buy christmas presents for about 1/2 a dozen families I dont even know and run a rundraiser for months for Childrens Hospital.
I have donated buildings to Boy Scouts of America, numerous cars, and even a home to a lady who had no place to live for her and her 2 children.
I even have a library named after me because I donated tens of thousands of books to them.
But you didnt answer the question, WILL YOU BE SENDING HER money..
I dont need to justify what I do with my money, I'm not the one whining "poor her"...

Why would I send this specific person money? I know nothing about her, Go read my prior posts here again, because apparently you have missed what I have said about this in your urge to score cheap talking points on me.
