They'll have to closely check the passenger list to see who was on the plane. It could very well be that somebody got into the cockpit and crashed the plane. They should be able to find out why the pilot left at any rate. But right now they should focus on the co pilot and investigate all his contacts over the last several months.
I don't think it was your standard moslem terrorist because they'd have been making religious prayers and statements on the way down. A psychotic suicidal person might just sit there and breathe and not say anything.

Sounds like your source was speculating about the cause of his interrupted training.

Other media has reported that breaks in aviation training are not uncommon.

He reportedly worked as a flight attendant during the break in training.

Perhaps the reason for the break was financial.

Or maybe not.

.

How would a passenger get in and not be detected by the recorder?

The media is correct. Breaks in training are fairly common. Even breaks or sabbaticals once in the career are commonplace as well.

How can they be sure there wasn't a third person in the cockpit, either a crew member or a passenger that forced his way in at the right moment, then knocked the copilot out? They really need to start putting cameras in cockpits.

Took all of four posts to bring Obama into this discussion.

Surprised it took that long.

I've been reading the German media and have found nothing at all suggesting anything about depression.

I'm not sure what I was reading this morning, but there are tons of links that say it. Here are a few:

Yes, for some people, if their dog has fleas, it must be the fault of Obama and/or Muslims!
