I doubt the Shia minority in Yemen will last long, as SA and Egypt have the best equipment and training that they can buy. And Without the concern for collateral damage that we have they can probably achieve victory.
This whole Shia vs Sunni battle has been going on for 1400 years now. Some people in the west like to think we in the west are a major player in the region, and we may be for a few years here and there, but in the long run this battle will never end.

SA's army has never been at war, so you don't know what their capabilities are, if any. Yes, they have the best military equipment that money can buy and they have the best people money can buy to fly them, as well operate other equipment. The military force itself is made up of locals.

Egypt's army - maybe it has improved since 1967.
Who cares. Makes me no difference if they have the military capabilities of the Cub Scouts.
No surprise that in a country where every male over the age of 12 carries a knife on his belt or a rifle over his shoulder that a war was inevitable. The shia/sunni division is deep in Yemen... why can't Muslims just live in peace? They believe essentially the same thing, after all.

From what I understand Heresy is worse than being a non-believer, and that is how many Shias and Sunnis view the other. That, and Apostates.
