Who in the frig cares! every freaking week , there is a discussion on Nature, or Nurture.
It is hard enough living a life today, as a straight person, can you imagine the pain and the suffering for those who are Gay and cannot come out. To live one's life in a closet, is not to live at all. For the Soul cannot be happy, but in pain.
Enough already, leave those who are Gay alone, to live their own lives, too many think they are above being noble and understanding, the plight of those who are not free to be who they really are, and this is so sad.
If being gay is "nurture" then how come all the children in a family aren't gay? I have two sons, the oldest is gay and his younger brother is the exact opposite. When a gay person tells you they knew they were different at a young age then I believe that points more towards nurture also.
It is part societal influence (homosexuality) and creation through many factors (personal experiences, traumas, etc...) and also it can be part of various chemical or brain imbalances.
Heterosexuality is in its natural present state in most cases, it is the normal state while homosexuality is abnormal in occurrence due to the above.
I believe it is primarily nurture, but that there are tendencies that can arise via nature.
