But, but, but, it CAN'T be.

We have read on here over and over and over that it is ONLY the repubs that have Wall St. connections.

Are you saying all those posters are wrong?

Barbara Makulski, Dem from MD, used to go to NY for fund raisers held by the banking industry, she was the ranking member of the banking committee.

I don't think she even bothered to have fund raisers IN MD.
Yes, we're told this kind of corruption is something only the "right wing" has.

I just wonder if the people making that claim actually believe it (stupid / naive) or just enjoy repeating that lie. Here at least, it appears to be more of the latter.

Of course there are a few Democratic detractors in the Senate of this kind of coziness with Wall Street, but apparently it is not so much that Democrats would actually turn to someone else as their leader in the Senate who is not so closely tied and supportive of these sorts of interests. No, money talks, and Chuck Shumer raises lots of it, especially from our nation's largest financial institutions.

So much for all the blather about the 99% and "equality". LOL. What a bunch of pure, undefiled B.S. that kind of talk has been.
Schumer represents Wall Street, er, I mean New York. No surprise that the banking lobby looks forward to him replacing Reid, when the far better choice is Patty Murray.
