That seems like a very early call.

Because that is the gender they self-identified with and there was no reason to question it or think they were odd or suspicious in any way? It's all perfecty normal and acceptable, and the guards who denied them entry should be held accountable for discrimination and have to attend diversity and sensitivity training.

Maybe they were just PO'd about the Indiana law.

I know this is no laughing matter, but it sounds a bit like the plot of a John Waters movie.

He is from nearly Baltimore...

Reportedly, the car had been reported stolen and a gun and drugs were found.

I think we have more to fear from our home grown whack jobs than we do, terrorists.
IMO this sounds like jihadists trying to test the security at the NSA complex. Why else would two men dressed as women try and crash a gate into an NSA facility? What other explanations could there possibly be?

Either the Feds are in denial, or they are pretty f'ing stupid.

"Nearby" is what I meant. Although "nearly Baltimore" works too, if you're at all familiar with his oeuvre.

A few years ago, a guy stole a truck in South Baltimore, led the police on a chase around the Beltway, down the B/W Parkway, and back up the Parkway until he tried to elude them by taking an exit off the Parkway. Unfortunately for him, he chose an exit that was only an entrance to the NSA complex. A friend of mine who worked there told me that he stopped at the last checkpoint before the guards would have started shooting.

News is reporting both were " under the influence".

Storming a gate at an armed military facility and expecting to survive makes no sense.

The wigs and attire is the icing on the fruit cake.
