My other question is what type of guy drinks at 9:30 am?

Maybe you should try a Mimosa or Bloody Mary in the morning, while on a vacation.

The article is dated March 25th and says he would be in Florida for the 28th-29th weekend. He was in the Oval Office Monday morning March 30th.

Negotiations will not cease until Iran gets everything it wants.

Bet he gives it to them.

President to Play Golf While Fate of World Decided

It’s the final, tense days of 18 months of negotiations over one of the most critical treaties of modern times – the terms under which Iran will either be permitted or not permitted to obtain a nuclear weapon.

...
The president’s emissaries, led by his Secretary of State, are in Switzerland feverishly negotiating the final details, hoping to ensure the toughest bargain possible to prevent the advent of an historic new peril to the world: Nuclear weapons in the hands of Iran’s crazed Islamist theocrats.

...
This just in now from the “pool” reporters covering the president:
On a sunny and beautiful, if chilly morning, the president left the White House residence at 9:30am, wearing a light blue button-up shirt with no tie, a navy blazer and khaki slacks. He waved to the pool but didn’t respond to your pooler’s shouted question about the new Indiana religious freedom law. The president got into Marine One . . . The helicopter was wheels-up to Joint Base Andrews at 9:34am. Handing over now to the travel pool . . .

Marine One touched down at Joint Base Andrews at 9:41 a.m. POTUS bounded down the steps at 9:45. We’re headed for warmer climes. Up the AF1 steps moments later. You can tell this is a non-work trip (because) someone forward of the press cabin ordered 3 beers at 9:26 am.

So he heads to Florida to play golf, and is drinking alcohol at 9:30 am.

I know he is in lame duck status, but this whole scene is just lame. Who is running things - Iran born Valerie Jarrett?
Yeah, kind'a like when GW read stories to grade-schoolers while the twin towers were being attacked and thousands of Americans were being killed.
Give me a break. Do you really think the President - ANY President - can't take time off while other people are working? Really? REALLY?

The President doesn't personally negotiate such deals - that's not his job. His job is to ASSIGN other people to do the negotiations based on HIS directions, then sign the agreement if it meets with his approval.

Get a clue.

Ken

I think King Putt has to wait for the Newspapers to find out what's going on in the World - at least that's what he tells us all the time.

It's okay-Nero fiddled while Rome burned.

The only thing that leads me to believe that Obama is not a Muslim is the presumption that he is a drunk. Perhaps he is simply not a good Muslim.
