The supreme court has long ruled on different standards of search and seizure at borders just as they have game wardens based on reasonablness of enforcement. Nothing new there.
So will employers get protection from being sued for discrimination when they start rejecting workers they suspect of being illegal?
The Federal government is not doing there due diligence to get an effective method to determine legality to work employee or subcontractor. and not take jobs from tax paying americans.

Of course they aren't and that's the problem. If e-verify were mandated across the board it would weed out illegal aliens. It's not about "suspecting" one is here legally and not hiring them it's about knowing they are via the above. How can an employer get sued for following the law?
How does LE know if you are a citizen or not unless they ask for ID? Do you also think it is Nazism to have to prove you are 21 to drink or to board a plane or open a bank account? Come on get real here.
there is no legal justification for them to know your legal status, none whatsoever. There's something called a 4th amendment in this country.
Those border agents need something to do because they can't go after illegals so they have to harass the citizens,
I've gotten stopped almost every year when I go down to the Texas coast.
On my way home there is a checkpoint on US 77. Sure I answer their questions and then tell them that everyone knows the illegals don't take US 77 and besides they can't arrest illegals now.
I get my snarky comments in while answering their questions.
Since illegals are protected they have to do something to earn their money.
what gets me is the people that complain about the border and in the next breathe complain about the border patrol. you cant have both, I not a big cop lover but if he wants to look in my RV, hell yes, you like a cup of coffee too.
Here is a clue. They are called BORDER PATROL. I would think they would be better at the border, not stopping every car a hour or more away from the border. Do you mind giving up all your rights so easily? Not trying to be a smart a s s just asking. If a cop knocked on your front door and asked to search your bedroom are you happy to let them in and get them a cup of coffee? If not why not. Just wondering where you draw the line on having your rights taken away. Does everybody have to draw the line at the same place you do?
