Austria is Central Europe at best. As the heart of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, it ruled much of eastern Europe, including the Balkans, Romania, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, Albania, Galacia (part of Poland) etc.

There are some small towns in the U.S. that are mostly homogenous. I don't see an issue wanting to live near people who share your values, your culture and your language. Funny, how if whites want to live near those culturally like them it is viewed as racist but when Hispanics and Blacks do likewise no one says a word.

Are you joking? My wife is from a small town in Michigan and it is at least 95% Polish culturally and there are many other small towns across the nation where a certain ethnic group is dominant. Here in Calif. we have many towns that are way dominant Hispanic and some that are dominant Black also.
