If by "business cycle" you mean **** economy, I agree.

FTR, if the economy is cooling, when was the last time it was hot?

You're just taking note of this now?

They're sad in the same way that the Manson girls are sad. They're also dangerous.

The economy is still on life support and no one wants any risk because its unknown what happens when we come off. Any wander why recovery is slow; no.

Yeah, because ACA was supposed to cover every last uninsured American in Year One.

Carry on pretending we lost jobs in March, right-wingers. It's quite amusing.

The only demographic whose employment numbers have recovered to pre-2008 levels are workers over age 55.

Percentage-wise, maybe.

In sheer numbers, not a chance. Boomers starting turning 65 in 2011, and they make up a massive portion of the American labor pool. Their exit from the workforce has been felt, even if they retire later than previous generations.

People who can do basic math predicted the decline in LFPR long before Obama took office. It was inevitable.

Yet almost 600,000 more older Americans (65+) are working today than one year ago.

So being fiscally conservative has a negative influence on the poor in our economy If they were truly fiscally conservative policies we would be in much better shape then we are. Unfortunately the Conservatives as you call them are not conservative. And Liberals are even worse as we see the current administration growing the National debt by at least two fold compared to the former Administration.
