It makes me a guy who said that he's a loser.

Anymore questions?

Perhaps he felt discriminated against himself.

Because of his race, his scores would have had to have been MUCH higher than an African Americans to have the same shot at med school acceptance.

He would've had to work much harder to accomplish the same result. Is that fair?

It's a joke. Both he and his more famous sister are comedians.

I just told you that I don't care if he lied to get in. Fine with me. But there are problems there too...

Did he even attempt to get in without lying about his race? Apparently not...he just assumed that he wouldn't get in. St Louis is a good school, but it's not THAT exclusionary. It's not Yale. His sister went to an Ivy...he knows this.

He simply assumed that the only way he'd get in is by being black...so he can't say that he was discriminated against. That's pure conjecture on his part.

But fine...The ruse worked. I'd have no beef if he'd at least graduated and didn't take a spot from some other kid that would've put in the work. But he lied to get in, then bull******* around once he got there.

That's my beef...not his lie. Moreover to NOW scream about AA when you didn't cut the mustard is lame. If he'd been successful, he'd have kept his mouth shut.

He's only whining because he failed.

I know his sister is a successful comedian.

If this is a big joke, then so be it. But if the situation is as the media is reporting it, the dude is a lame.

In the before-and-after photos he looks his current age - not a 20 something from 20 years ago.

This happened 17 years ago and the AA programs if they exist today are not like they were in 1998. The movie Soulman was from 1986 in which a white student pretended to be black to get into Harvard. The programs have been changed since then. Now its possible that a low income white student has a good chance of being admitted under a diversity program. Does anyone have a problem with that? Race is not the factor it once was in admissions.

EVERY med school is exclusionary. Every single one.

He can't say that that he himself was discriminated against - but there is a history of discrimination against Asians when it comes to med school acceptance. That is a fact.

If race isn't a factor, why is it more likely that a Hispanic or an African American with a GPA of 3.1 + a MCAT of 31 has statistically a much better shot of getting into medical school than an Asian with the exact same score?
