you have put forth a false premise that is easily debunked. I believe those of you conservatives on this website are capable of critical thinking, please dont prove me wrong.
I disagree. Hate speech is, and should be protected. I understand your point, but controlling speech would open a huge can of worms, and I don't see any good coming from it.

This is a tough question really. I mean, obviously we can't say that KKK members cannot legally purchase cakes. Even **** people like pastries.

So, yeah, since there's racism on the cake, I think they should have the right to refuse to make the cake. I don't necessarily think that same freedom would extend to not making a cake for someone who is racist (as in the cake is not creating a racist message but the person ordering it is an idiot). Same general idea with gay people. A Christian baker can refuse in certain situations, but if it's just baking the average run of the mill cake for a gay person, that's just petty of them and is more discrimination that staying true to one's religion.

Your comparing gay people to a group that targets minority groups violently really is telling of the kind of person you are.

If you gonna bake birthday cakes then you must bake them for everyone.

The comparison is they are both entitled to equal protection under the law. The point is it is liberals on this site who frequently argue a business owner must serve the whole public. The court decision in this case was in alignment with that argument.

I worked in food and beverage during my 20s. It's amazing how many people are so foolish to anger the people who serve something they're going to ingest.

I never tainted anything, and never would, but a shrimp dinner came with six prawns to decent customers, five to impatient idiots, and four to azzholes.

It's explained in your first link..there is a difference between just baking a cake and being asked to write something objectionable on it.

The biggest one is that hate speech is not a protected class.

But we have a bigger problem here, you thought this was a real story LOL.
