I disagree with the first sentence, but agree with the last one.

The western militaries have learned, and are now taking extreme measures so no "collateral casualties" occur.

In other words, they grew a conscience. Women, children and refugees are no longer on wanton target lists. Dresden was an unindicted war crime for which they was no excuse or reason.

Your terms 'collateral casualties' and 'wanton targets' are not lining up. Which is it?

The allies knew that there were a large numbernof refugees, they purposely targeted them, that is unconscionable. A war crme.

Any other excuses you can find to avoid accepting the reality of this war crime?

Our objective in WW 2 was to make our enemies surrender unconditionally.....we did that......now you want to play Monday Quarterback?

The purpose of Isis is to conquer and expand and destroy everybody that doesn't have their believes.

Privatization is not done with the idea of 'maximum profit.' Conservatives like to do it where possible in order to reduce costs to taxpayers. So that we don't end up with things like a $9.50 Amtrak cheeseburger that costs $16 to make, leaving taxpayers to pay the $6.50 difference--a scenario that does not seem to trouble liberals in the least.

Ironically some of the European countries are actually ahead of the US in privatization:

Sweden has adopted a voucher system for K-12 education ( privatization). New Zealand and Australia have also been moving towards privatization after years of public sector failures. Only in the US is a $9.50 cheeseburger that costs $16 to produce not seen as a problem by liberals.

However, you are wrong about the debt/GDP ratios. Here are the correct figures from the IMF.

Report for Selected Countries and Subjects

The USA is in the worst position, and Norway by far, in the best. A negative (minus) sign means they have no debt but, in fact, assets.

Your just plain wrong.
well the info I see says Norway has a major debt 737 billion... which is 141% of its GDP
where the usa has an 18 trillion debt but is at 106% of its gdp
List of countries by external debt - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

us debt per capita (if you split it up by everyone in population ) is 58K per person.....Norway is 131k per person

That is not even on the horizon for the US.

Germany has had a large influx of non- ethic Germans, and we all know how well it is and has been doing.

Both have a lot less crime rate than the US, and certainly incarcerate less. The US incarceration and execution rate is worse than many third world countries and some dictatorships.

based on what?......the U.S. has more Latinos, African decent, Asians and European decent than Canada.

Canada has a very high cost of living, high cost of housing and high insurances.....that universal healthcare is not free after all.

Canada's GDP's is 1/16 of the United States....they better balance their budget and pay down their debt.

the GDP TO DEBT RATIO of the U.S. is 73%....Canada is 84%.
