And they wonder why they stay at the bottom of society.

If the older woman had been licensed to carry a gun and used it, we would be reading about a white woman shooting poor unarmed teenagers.

I think she may have been under some naive assumption she could talk to black girls the way she would to anyone else. Of course, you can't do that, and if you do you better have some self defense, pepper spray, stun gun, to back you up. Don't start confrontations with hyperviolent people that you can't finish. These people don't live by civilized rules.
She needed to be more street smart than she was.

I'm not surprised this thread has started in the tone that it has. There was an incident in Cottonwood,AZ, at a Wal-Mart where some White people got into a deadly fight. All all arrested, one person died, a police officer was injured. I went on that thread, and no one was chalking it up to "that's White people for you". One person called out specifically "White trash". It was not contributed to the whole race, just the underclass types within the race. Black underclass types beat up someone, and that person isn't Black, it is looked at in the context of "Black people assaulting White person" or "that's Black people for you". No one is looking at the fact that the specific Black persons who did that were basically the equivalent of underclass trash. How many regular Black people do crap like that, as oppose to Blacks of the underclass type?

I agree that these days you have to walk on eggshells around today's youth.
However, by standing on the sidelines and not confronting bad behavior, it only emboldens the offenders and helps to perpetuate the problem. That means it will only get worse. These girls will get older, and have to deal with much more violent youth.

Problem solved.

So no one should go anywhere they want to go because there are teenagers at the same place?

That means no one under the age of 20 would leave their homes because teenagers are everywhere.
