It's 2015. This kind of racism shouldn't be happening.
It appears that you think that just because the cop was white and the unfortunate suspect was black that racism was the cause of the incident. Tell me, would you say the same thing if the dead guy was white and the cop was black?

Oh good, if he found guilty he can be fined $1.00, but it would be better if he were found not guilty because in no way should an accident that would never have happened had Harris been cooperative result in a felony conviction.

No, hitting ice and sliding into somebody is bad luck. A mistake is intending to do one thing and accidentally doing the other.

Irrelevant. A felon does not cause is own death, especially if the officer's life is not in danger.

Irrelevant.

A man is dead. His killer must accept the consequences.

Bates, 73, accidentally shot Eric Harris on Thursday, according to Maj. Shannon Clark, after Harris — the subject of an undercover gun and ammunition buy by the Sheriff’s Office’s Violent Crimes Task Force — fled from arrest and then fought with a deputy who tackled him. Bates, Clark said, thought he was holding a stun gun when he pulled the trigger.
You fight to win - not break even. I probably would have shot him, too.

[on purpose]

And you would be charge with second degree manslaughter. Though I think they should also charge the moron who thought this would be a great idea giving this idiot playing fantasy cop a loaded weapon.

At least Harris won't be attributing to crime and possible future homicides with illegal guns. But the deputy has to be charged and will be. I'm just glad people are focusing on the facts of the case and not making it a race based distraction.
