Of course she does, so she can try and raise her 2.5 billion through foreign donations while her opponent can't raise squat.
Quote:
This campaign will begin on a small scale and build up to an effort likely to cost more than any presidential bid waged before, with Mrs. Clinton’s supporters and outside “super PACs” looking to raise as much as $2.5 billion in a blitz of donations from Democrats who overwhelmingly support her candidacy
You seriously think that whoever the R nominee turns out to be, that campaign will be run on a shoestring? You think that lobbyists for foreign governments don't already participate in presidential and congressional campaigns?

Well, OK then.
They won't be able to come close to the 2.5 billion that HRC is aiming for.
The LAST thing Clinton - and/or - any political group is going to get is a Constitutional amendment. There aren't enough states to support any kind of an amendment whether it's campaign spending, family welfare, corporate campaign financing, foreign money, the lobby revolving door, open immigration for convicts, you name it.
This country is currently ripped in half between those who want to maintain a federal republic and those who want a large government uptopia, regardless of which may or may not be viable. Clinton's running mate will be Julian Castro, ensuring a continuation of the pursuit to bury the lost federalism.
Select your feeding teat and kiss your country good bye. Enjoy your uselessness.

Have the Kochs and their like gone bankrupt? The estimated *annual* revenue of Koch Industries is 185 billion. 2.5 billion is 1.4% of the annual income.
The Kochs' personal net worth is about 110 billion, so 2.5 is just a bit over 2% of their net worth.
You are correct that the money will be flying fast and furious, but if you think anyone has - or can have - clean hands in this arena, you are smoking some pretty good stuff. This is the pros we're talking about here, and to play, you must ante up.
All the politicians I have ever known complain about the fundraising. But as long as no limits are imposed, it's a vicious cycle.

IMHO, the Republican Candidates are not as crooked, unethical and on and on as Hillary and Bill. Thus, they do not attract the foreign funding because they don't promise all the "behind closed doors" stuff the Clintons seem to play with.
Well a politician said it so you know it has to be true.
Seriously, you believe "I'm gonna take those profits" Hillary?
She is looking for a campaign issue that will make her look better in the middle-america department.
At least it is lip service, which, so far, is more than I can say for the Rs.
If it turns out to be a big winner as far as issues go, yes, if she is elected president, I expect her to follow through.
