And then we can include him on the list of those to blame, right now it is in the Congress and that is where it is being fast tracked by Repubs and yes also Dems. Hopefully for a change the voters will remember this and voice their opinion in the 2016 elections.................. ROTFLMAO it just dawned on me how ridiculous that is, never mind
Congress is considering giving Obama fast-track authority.
Quote:
Ultimately, fast track gives the President credibility to negotiate tough trade deals, while ensuring Congress a central role before, during and after negotiations. The authority puts America in a strong position to negotiate major trade agreements and maintains a partnership between the President and Congress that has worked for more than 20 years.
The Constitution gives Congress key authority on trade
One reason fast track exists is that while the Constitution gives Congress broad authority on trade, the executive branch has the power to negotiate with foreign countries. So fast track helps the two branches of government work together to negotiate and pass complicated deals. Critics say it lets the president cut corners.
Congress is considering giving Obama fast-track authority.
They are in this together.
I know that, thing I asked is would people remember that at the polls next year, the answer I got is no, they will ignore who all supported it and later say it was only the other guys that got in the mess. Does not matter we have no say in it anyway and never did. Going down the tubes quick.
What is there to discuss? As you note its bipartisan. Both parties doing it and as the overwhelming majority supports the two parties no matter what they do there seems to be nothing here to discuss.
Ho about discussing everyone who fast tracks this pile of **** gets voted out?
The way to keep the Senate from approving this mess is to Remind your Senator that you vote (name.senate.gov).
I have done that to both of mine and only gotten a response from the guy running in 2016.
If he votes to hurt NC and the people he will be voted out. NAFTA has destroyed the manu. base of NC and TPP will finish it off.
Never happen, have you listened to the Party Hacks on this site? We lot the ability to control what Politicians do long long ago, they do not work for us.
The T.P.P. is too complicated and covert for the American voter to understand.
If the voter would spend about a half hour looking into it, he or she could come to
the appropriate conclusion that it's going to be detrimental.
The corporate news is not going to reveal the nature of this new multi-national
agreement. It's not just another trade deal.
It's a building block of the global corporate and banking takeover.
Americans don't seem capable of grasping the way the elite plan to assimilate
countries under their domination. America is not a country, in their view, it's a state within the one world government. Laws of the T.P.P. override the constitution.
Countries are no longer countries. They are dependent states under the global hierarchy.
Resisting states will gradually all be assimilated. Nationhood will be eliminated within
the next 100 years, and if it is necessary to war against Russia, China, Iran, or any other
resisting nation, then war will happen, to usher in the New World Order.
All will be serfs except for the few hundred at the top who will own everything, then
allow only those who accept and work to maintain their rule will be allowed to benefit, within limited parameters. They are the apex of the pyramid. They will control the destiny
of mankind for their benefit, unless otherwise thwarted. They cannot be thwarted by any
political democratic process. The political democratic process is manipulated to forward
their plans, which have been in place for over 200 years now.
Americans are most enthralled by the gossipy, hot-button topics fed to them
by the establishment for discussion as a distractionary technique. They are
too busy trying to get by within the confines of the system to spend any precious
leisure time on anything of substance that affects their lives, perferring to escape
mentally rather than confront reality. It's all part of the learned helplessness that
is a characteristic of our society today. Political discourse has been reduced to
a spectator sporting event, economic policy has been reduced to bare envy or fear,
and philosophy has been reduced into a 30 second sound byte.
