I've spent too much time in Colorado and Alaska to remember what cannabis being illegal was like.

I'm in London right now, there was a pot rally yesterday in Hyde Park. Cops had the rally surrounded and there were signs warning of arrests for possession.

This is my first time here but it didn't seem legal to me.

I think it's only a matter of time. 5-10 years maybe.

That assumes a majority of both chambers favor legalization. I don't see it.

Has any 2016 hopeful come out in full favor of federal legalization?
I am aware that Marco Rubio is opposed. How about the others?

Realize that the legalization path for marijuana will be an even more complicated framework than it is for cigarettes; and pot will end up in a similar niche in society. As it gets "legalized", it will also be banned from smoking in public and nearly all private places. Apartment complexes will ban smoking it on the property, as well as colleges and universities.
But since it has intoxicating effects, you will get fired for being under the influence of it in the workplace too and the laws for DUI will become more stringent relative to marijuana.

Much like homebrewing, grow your own will become intensely regulated but with even higher taxes (there's a reason almost no one grows their own tobacco and home distilling is so rare). And taxes will be high, just like cigarettes and alcohol. You will yearn for the days when black market marijuana could be had for a fraction of the price. Oh, maybe there would still be black market suppliers; you can buy black market cigarettes and alcohol if you try. But it will be low quality and risky relatively to the store bought products. It will be much easier just to keep going to far more expensive and regulated main stream suppliers.

Enjoy that legalization.

I was talking about "taxing." Most likely it will never be legal, but eventually they will talk people into paying big $$$ to get it and smoke it. As of now it is easy to come by and it is not taxed, why screw up a good thing. Decriminalize it and release all prisoners involved with violation of possession or small time sales.

LOL! Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd by going against the will of the people even if he were to get elected it would only make him a one term president.
