Those crazy democrats and their love for war...

"US warship heads to Yemeni waters to intercept Iranian weapons shipments, Navy officials say."

His Peace Prize obviously had an asterisk.

The AP article is based on an anonymous source.
I don't doubt that the US is moving more assets into the region but doubt that they will be boarding and searching Iranian vessels. Under what authority or UN Resolution?

The US fights to support the Saudi monarchy and its control of the peninsula. The Iranian's fight is Shiite vs Sunni. Sometimes these interest are on the same side (vs ISIS) and sometimes they conflict (vs Yemen rebels).

"There are about nine U.S. ships in the region, including cruisers and destroyers carrying teams that can board and search other vessels."

Authority? I don't need no stinking authority.

There is no mission to intercept and board Iranian shipping. That's just speculation and sensationalism on the part of AP.
Intercepting and boarding would be an act of war. There is no UN or other resolution supporting or justifying it
