What should the EU do with the influx of migrants coming in through the Mediterranean? (illegal, solution)

Thousands of migrants from Africa and Syria are being smuggled into the EU. The EU isn't clear on what it can do to accommodate the influx of these people? Should they send them back or integrate them into European society?

My guess is same has illegals entering here; much of nothing really.

Why should they accept them? Do you accept every useless deadbeat that wants to take over your house? Send them back where they came from. They can do something to fix their own countries.

Whatever they do , do not follow our example

give them free medical care and food and definetly drivers licenses... oh and send for the rest of their families.. But really I think they should stop them before they get to the shores and turn them back.. clear message for the rest.. Same as USA should with our immigrant problem

I think Italy has a better solution for illegals

A law passed by parliament in 2009 “penalizes illegal immigrants with a fine of €5,000-10,000 and allows immigration officials to detain them for up to 6 months.”
