Cool. People exercising their personal freedoms LEGALLY and without fear of prosecution (unless of course you drive while high). I'll bet it was a peaceful event too. Probably less drama too than a Denver Broncos game, because there were no belligerent drunks! If you've ever been to an NFL game, or the pre or post game tailgate parties, then you know what I'm talking about!
I was downtown at the library on Monday. Other than the occasional stoner wandering through, it was pretty quiet. A few people were sprawled in corners, but for the most part, it was well contained. I left around 4:00, and the odor was overwhelming as soon as I walked outside. I have no doubt there was quite a cloud rising over the park.

I would like to know why they don't protest more to release prisoners.......as people toke people are sitting behind bars for the every same thing. Can't be an activist if their mission isn't to fre people before them.
4/20 should be held for the people doing time for a non-violent crime!

I agree. In fact, once prohibition is repealed I support the release of those incarcerated for so-called crimes surrounding cannabis, and full pardons for those who have prior convictions and have their records wiped clean for the problems caused by an immoral war on people for using or possessing a PLANT! Obviously any heinous crimes such as murder where a drug deal has gone bad for example would not apply!
