You are so hateful!!!

This person was NOT an intruder. How stereotypical of someone to assume this when a person enters a dwelling that does not belong to them.

In the future, please respectfully refer to these so called "intruders" as undocumented residents of the household they are visiting with no formal invitation.

I think the real issue here is the utter violence that ensued over the selfishness of the boy denying the fulfillment of another human-being's needs.

Thumbs up Good judgment!

Interesting comparison of two home burglaries, a young 14 year old in Arizona and the 60-something old man in Texas. One with a ball bat and one with a shotgun, both on a phone call with 911 center. The 14 year old talking with the emergency center operator and having the police in the neighborhood to catch the burglar and only needing to take a swing with the ball bat and hit a homerun when the burglar entered the room and the kid couldn’t exit the window as instructed by the 911 center. The old man in Texas “refuses” to listen to the emergency operator and goes outside to kill two men while the police are just entered into the neighborhood. The young 14 year old had good judgment!

But the old man had 46 more years of seeing criminals get away with their crimes.

The other difference is the kid hit the person who was in his house and in his room and he felt threatened and took the necessary action. The old man shot two people, who had robbed someone elses house, in the back and killed them.

In Poland, baseball bats are recognized as lethal weapons, and you need to get a permit to own one. In Kenya, they are standard equipment for security guards, who ordinarily are unarmed. Baseball bats don't kill people---people kill people.

Very key... what a commendable neighbor! I would certainly live in this neighborhood!

Hey, I have a metal baseball bat near the front door.

I applaud the kid for rolling out the welcome wagon in this way to the burglar. When people start fighting back, the more the stories will be in the news and maybe, just maybe some of these idiots will stop to ask themselves if its worth it to break into that house.

Who knows what each of us would do, when put to the test like this. It would be poetic to see him on the floor throwing up his internal organs because the young man had made contact with his most tender regions but I don't imagine the boy had time to think.

Exactly, they have just as much a right as anyone else. He was just looking to fulfill the "American Dream".
