while the author claims that davis had " interest in photography included taking photos of nude women" there is nothing to suggest that davis "made income from photographing women for kinky bondage books and magazines" as you claim.

you still haven't addressed my question:

how could a photo taken in 1960 ( as joel gilbert claims ) have been published in 1958?

Liberal education = throw money at it and turn it into a day care.

Conservative education = properly fund schools allowing students and parents to take advantage of what is offered to them.

Depends. Where conservatism is strongest they seem to like to teach creationism

Yes, I do the biggest factor in getting a good education is the student and parents doing their best to learn.

You might believe that having digital blackboards, fancy lockers and extravagant stadiums result in a superior learning experience, but I'd bet studies wouldn't reflect that.

What do the experts say?

Parent Involvement May Be More Important Than School Quality

Quote:
Students with high family social capital and low school social capital generally had better grades than students with high school social capital but low family social capital, the researchers found.
Gazette » Teachers or Parents: Who’s More Important?

Quote:
In the early, formative years, the parent is the most important influence on a child’s education. There is no more important time in a person’s life than the early years when a parent’s love for reading and sharing make life long learning a possibility. As the child gets older the parent continues to dominate as the most important element in a child’s attitude and thus learning.
When I Googled parents role in education, the results were pretty overwhelming,

Now, if you want to post some studies or experts saying that parents have a minimal role in education, I'd love to see them.

I live in a very conservative area of Texas, and my daughter learned about dinosaurs and evolution. Honestly, I really don't know if creationism was touched on or not, but I know it didn't show up on any tests.

What percentage of Texas schools teach creationism over evolution?

Does your figure include the $6 trillion for Dubya's lost middle east wars?
