Tomorrow you're all going to wake up in a brave new world. A world where the Constitution gets trampled by an army of terrorist clones, created in a stem-cell research lab run by homosexual doctors who sterilize their instruments over burning american flags. Thanks for nothing.

Good points...you know why Republican congressmen are so against gay marriage don't you Areyouserious?
It's cause they don't like commitment
Speaking of which...Bill Maher outed Ken Mehlman on Larry King last night. Mehlman is the chairman of the Republican National Commitee... !!
But, if Republican Tom Tancredo of Colorado runs for President in 2008, I will vote for him. Unlike most of the other Republicans who give lip service to protecting our borders, he means it. He seems to stand for America and I like his attitude. So, this Democrat is goin' Republican in 08 if Tancredo runs for Prez!

Hi,

I understand the emotional side of the flag burning argument, but I don't understand the logic. A flag is an object. Ascribing supernatural significance to it or worshipping it is tantamount to idolatry.

If it's a choice between worshipping graven images or torching a piece of cloth, I say let it burn.

So much the worse. We're not to worship idols for fear of placing what it symbolises above God. So I worship no country and certainly no flag.

If that means I should be wrapped up in a flag and burned, well, best to burn in this life than the next.
