Again, our laws do not say the parents get to stay.
Yes, legally the baby has more rights.
You're starting to sound like a parrot in here constantly repeating yourself. You're right our laws don't state that the illegal parents get to stay but in practice especially of late they have been allowed to. Not only that but when the child reaches adulthood even if the parents are deported they can sponsor them to come back. That's why the phrase of "anchor baby" was coined.
No one has said they are but they still shouldn't profit from their parent's lawlessness either. You just aren't getting it and you keep grasping at straws here. For example, say a father robbed a bank should his offspring get to keep the loot just because he wasn't the one who robbed the bank?
You are arguing that the kid should go to jail with the parent. In your scenario they would be taking something that doesn't belong to them. According to precedent, citizenship does.

One has little to do with the other. You are wanting to do the very same thing as those who don't enforce our immigration laws are doing. Simply ignore the law. You can't get passed the idea that the baby is not responsible for the actions of their parents or a president with little respect for our laws.

"Anchor baby" is a pejorative term for a child born in the United States to non-citizen parents; the child, an American citizen by jus soli, supposedly could later facilitate immigration for relatives who would not otherwise qualify for permanent residence
The term is often used in the context of the debate over illegal immigration to the United States to refer to children of illegal immigrants, but may be used for the child of any immigrant.[1] A similar term, "passport baby", has been used in Canada for children born through so-called "maternity" or "birth tourism".[6][7]
Los Angeles is considered the center of the maternity tourism industry; authorities in the city there closed 14 maternity tourism "hotels" in 2013.[21] The industry is difficult to close down since it is perfectly legal for a pregnant woman to travel to the U.S.[21]
On March 3, 2015 Federal Agents in Los Angeles conducted a series of raids on 3 "multimillion-dollar birth-tourism businesses" expected to produce the "biggest federal criminal case ever against the booming 'anchor baby' industry", according to the Wall Street Journal.[21][22]
The majority of children of illegal immigrants in the United States are citizens, and the number has risen. According to a Pew Hispanic Center report, an estimated 73% of children of illegal immigrants were citizens in 2008, up from 63% in 2003. A total of 3.8 million unauthorized immigrants had at least one child who is an American citizen.
There has been a growing trend, especially amongst Chinese visitors to the United States, to make use of "Birth Hotels" to secure US citizenship for their child and leave open the possibility of future immigration by the parents to the United States.[30][31] The U.S. government estimates that there were 7,462 births to foreign residents in 2008[32] while the Center for Immigration Studies estimates that 40,000 births are born to "birth tourists" annually.[32] Pregnant women typically spend around $20,000 to stay in the facilities during their final months of pregnancy and an additional month to recuperate and await their new baby's U.S. passport.
Some prospective mothers misrepresent their intentions of coming to the United States, a violation of U.S. immigration law; however, it is not illegal for a woman to come to the U.S. to give birth
The website includes tips for mothers on how to hide their pregnancies from U.S. customs officers, so they can receive a visitor's visa.
Pregnant mothers are advised to wear a dark T-shirt and use a large backpack to cover their stomachs, according to advice on the website. They are also told to not bring in any items specific to pregnant women and babies, in order to prevent suspicion.
Aside from citizenship, the website touts other perks American citizens enjoy, including free public education, better loan rates and social welfare during retirement.
"It's so blatant and from doing my research, this is an epidemic and it's nationwide," Mitchell said. "It's a way to buy citizenship.
btw...as much as the OP want to make this about Hispanics.... its not...... its about ALL people illegal or legally traveling who VIOLATE or go around immigration laws

That's not what the law says.
Medicaid alone paid $2.2 billion last year to partially reimburse hospitals for unpaid illegal alien delivery bills
A staggering 84 hospitals in California alone, have been forced to close their doors because of unpaid bills by illegal aliens.
It is a slap in the face of every legal immigrant. It is bankrupting our social services, schools and hospitals. It is insanity. It must end.

They are not responsible for the actions of their parents. You think there is a collective guilt? You are responsible for the actions of your ancestors?
What are you talking about?
The United Kingdom, for example, formerly allowed Birthright citizenship. In 1981, because of immigration pressures, they restricted it to now require that one parent be a legal resident. In France birthright citizenship has been changed — now children between the ages of 16 and 22 of illegal alien parents must actively seek French citizenship.
NO one says law cannot be changed. Before you argue that UK and France do not have constitution. Well,
Granting birthright citizenship to the children of illegal aliens whose first act in coming here is to break our laws, cheapens beyond recognition the meaning of our Constitution and the value of the lives lost fighting to preserve it.
