If you have to use the word "ilk" you have no argument.

Yes, for the few that get held captive one could argue it's not a full life but nobody cares about baby seals as much if they have never actually seen one.
That's just sick.

And don't get me started on how baby animals are "acquired" so that "children aren't deprived from experiencing these animals." Huh? Zoos are so far removed from exotic animals' habitats, it's ridiculous. We don't need elephants in Cincinnati.

Zoos exist solely for the entertainment of people, not for the welfare of the animals. If people want to "experience" animals, let them go on a dang safari.
Are you kidding? Liberal groups are constantly attacking places like sea world. How many safaris have you been on? How much did it cost? How many poor black kids will be able to go on a safari? As usual, it will just be something for wealthy liberals and at the same time they will feel good about themselves for "saving" the whales.

You know what the Seaworld is doing is really sick, imprisoning animals for our own entertainments! Oh that's called keeping pets.

Free all animals! Let's start with freeing our own pets first!

If that is the best that you can come up with then I think my argument is doing pretty good.

I found it interesting that SeaWorld indicates they no longer get Killer Whales from the wild but fail to mention any details.

Putting these whales that travel oceans into a small pool because they get good health care, honestly? Maybe prisons are undersold.

Watching a thousand pound fish jump for food, great education tool

Fish? Really now, and try ten tons rather than 1,000 pounds.....

By and large animals are treated well in captivity today.
Ya think? Orcas in the wild have a life span comparable to humans....An Orca called Granny, a member of the J-pod here off Vancouver Island is 102 years old........In captivity they live an average of less than ten years.

To date approximately 157 orcas have died in captivity, not including stillborns or miscarriages.
