Since you either didn't read your links or can't comprehend them, it's pretty useless to "debate" you.
You mean the unions are too cowardly to allow people to make the choice to join. They either want people to be forced to join or be forced to contribute a part of their paycheck.
Americans want choice, unions want to choose for them.
......and the NLRB under this Administration has been fighting to help them do just that.
You mean the way companies let them do before the union movement? Oh, wait ...
And riding a donkey was one of the best forms of transportation at one time.

I feel employees should have the right to unionize and have a person or group negotiate on their behalf if they choose.
However, I also feel that nobody should be forced to join a union or to pay dues or fines if they don't want to join.
What is the problem with that?

Of course, I feel that public (government) jobs should not be unionized, but let's make that a separate debate.

Therefore you certainly have to agree that there are quite a few government programs that should cease to exist as they pull others down while only pulling some up.
Unions had a place prior to all the protections given to workers by the government. With all of those protections, the "need" for unions has passed long ago.
What will a union protect a worker from that the government won't?
