Maybe we will reach a point where bigotry hiding behind the 1st Amendment is not tolerated by civil society - no matter the target. It is not a question of following the Constitution. It is about following the Golden Rule. We obviously have a ways to go on that.
The problem is that this is not true. These are all different situations. A private station can fire a talk show host for something he said. As for the schools, like I said in those threads, if it's a public school and the kids sue then the school is going to lose.

No. The only restrictions on speech are libel and slander, though the Supreme Court has created time, place and manner restrictions. There are no content restrictions. There is some suggestion that "fighting words" are not protected but even if true that would not be the case here. In fact, protecting political satire would likely enjoy the full force of the first amendment.

Wrong, you forgot public safety restrictions and guess what the situation in Garland has now set a president that could be used to ban further such "contests" and I would not be surprised it is not perused by someone. The group of idiots that put on the show down there may have actually worked against themselves in holding such and event and they are darn lucky no one there got killed.

I haven't seen anything from Obama that would suggest he has a negative opinion of Catholics. Your argument seems to be based off a false equivalence.
He was trying to force Catholics to pay for birth control. I did vote for him and I don't blame him for everything but he is doing some horrible things like immigration reform.

I'm talking things like Catholic schools and organizations. If you don't agree with their views why work there?
