There have been many bills to break up big banks, Republican and Democrat.

They go nowhere, fast, regardless of who sits the oval or holds the majority.

He voted against TARP. And didn't believe in "too big to fail" back then.

He is a man of conviction just like Ron Paul.
But sadly Americans aren't looking for a man of conviction today.
Why wouldnt you vote for him ?

this isnt some gotcha moment, im just curious since you said he has the same convictions as Ron Paul(well at least in your view).

Here they had all 3...guess no one cared...
Thanks...I'll take back my complaint with a caveat. This bill gave Geithner the oversight to make a list of banks "To big to fail". Geithner was never going to do that.

Conviction as in he means what he says and he walks his talk.
But Ron Paul is Libertarian whereas Bernie Sanders is Socialist.

I'm not on board with all of what he wants to do.

Now I hope that Sanders gives Hillary a run for the money come debates.
He's pretty straightforward and I can see him raking her over the coals regarding what she plans to do as President.

I look forward to those debates and hope he's not treated the way Ron Paul was treated.

He wont be ignored like Rand Paul. Not because I think the Democratic Party is any different in that aspect, but because its hard to ignore the only other person on the stage LOL.

I'm hoping Chafee throws his hat in the ring.

So far, from what I've read, I like the guy.
