Never been in a union but my hubby has and it is what got his JOB back when he was UNJUSTLY fired! A necessity for the employee who is stepped on by corporate twits, IMHO.
LEGACY costs created by union negotiations are ginormous for businesses to pay out long term, can hear them groan! More of an issue are the legacy costs of unionized municipal workers bc they burden generations of tax payers in their neighborhood.

Umm I am not against public employees having a Union, not sure how you got that idea.

Let's see him triumph over the other 17 GOP candidates, all of whom are anti-labor too!

This is exactly why unions are indispensable. Constructive termination is commonplace. People say oh no that's illegal, but management does it anyway. Getting a lawyer to enforce the law early in ones career can mean years of unemployment. Unions stop the BS.

There is no such thing as "unjustly fired". To believe such is also to think one is owed a job.

I've seen quotes from Walker saying he doesn't want private workers to have to join the private union and pay union fees if they don't want to join. Sounds fair to me.

Please provide a quote specifically for your claim of what he said and how he is "going after private unions" if you want to discuss private unions.
If the private worker doesn't want to pay the union dues than he shouldn't take the job. Why the hell should the others pay the union dues while he gets it for free? The union is there because the workers voted to have a union.

Walker doesn't give a rats ass about this private worker. He just wants to cut off union dues so that unions aren't getting any money and so can't survive

Walker has stated he supports choice for workers to decide for themselves, the choice of whether they want to join the union or not.

I've only seen you complain about one side. If I'm wrong about that, I'm happy about being wrong.
