They should have been expelled. Period. The University of Oklahoma students were expelled for merely singing a song, not for blocking students from attending class. Interfering with a student's ability to attend class creates a hostile learning environment. Those students should be expelled for creating a hostile learning environment, PRONTO!!!

I dont think the kids as OU should have been expelled, but stop trying to minimize what they did by saying they were "simply singing a song".
Further more, the article doesnt say who was assaulted, as far as you know, someone who disagreed with them could have been the one assaulting the protesters.
i prefer pepper spray, though 800,000 volts does sound intriguing though.
i would try to find another way around the protest, but if i couldnt, i would try to go through as politely as possible. if someone choose to assault me, i would retaliate using as minimal of force possible, usually a shot to the knee ends any issues.

Get over what people do in private. Or do you wish to regulate everyone's private sexual acts, as well?
the gate is made up of 3 opening, the students were blocking the main one in the middle. if the people who felt that they were obstructed from walking to class had simply walked 2 feet in either direction, they could have been on their merry way.
Also, this gate is where the university holds a lot of the major on campus events and most protest, people are used to it being crowded and blocked entirely, not just partially.

You missed my point. Those kids singing racist songs deserved to be expelled. This has nothing to due with them blocking anyone's access to class. Totally different situation.
