I didn’t have it to lose.

The first phase is a lot of head games and weeding out the weak and unmotivated.

The physical activity and limited sleep and calories really strips the weight off.

A Ranger is about endurance.

The mountains and the swamps were tough for any human.

When a woman can hump a 200 pound, injured compatriot out of harms way .. I will concede that women belong in special forces.

Until then .. it's all PC CR@P!
Agreed!

agreed!

I know one ranger, he lost both legs and is currently working at va hospital. His name is Lucas.

I volunteered at va hospital for several years, I met two force recon Marines. One is homeless, the other one lost one arm, both named Mike or Michael. They are both my brother's friends, my own brother is a former Force Recon with the 0321 MOS.

These men are hardcore war fighters.

I wanted to comment on this thread several days ago, but was afraid to offend anybody.

I've read OP's article several times, and I noticed that "these women served with the rangers." They are not really Rangers, this kind of put my mind at ease. Not going to lie.

I searched on the internet, and it says,

About 60 women will be allowed to take the next Army Ranger course assessment, giving female soldiers their first opportunity in the all-male area of special operations forces — even though they will not become members of the regiment and will not serve as Rangers in combat.

I guess it is not too bad.

I signed up and was accepted to ranger school and learned how to stay alive!

NO ONE enlists today or even then to kill!
The enlistees, many of them enlist because they love their country!

Jerks who have never served but enjoy their freedom, have no clue about what sacrifices have been made so that they can make internet fools of themselves!

I just knew that I was going to be excoriated by the liberals and women for my response!
To say that your response made me feel like I had just rolled over and avoided a land mine would be an unexpressed way of saying how I really feel!

You are loved!

So not one of the women that were going through the course made it? They've all been dropped?

Someone will make it. Real soon.

And it`s the same *** wipes who ***** about $15 for burger flippers while patriotic ground pounders make much less.

It really is disgraceful how we treat the people who serve in our military.

And there are those who have been brainwashed into thinking the military is evil.

Generally I tend to agree with you but in this case it's an exception because they are filling a need that no man can fill.
