HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) — A coroner says two Mississippi police officers have died after being shot in the line of duty.
Forrest County Coroner Butch Benedict told the Jackson Clarion-Ledger (Suspects named in slaying of two Hattiesburg officers ) Saturday night that both Hattiesburg officers had died. They’d been taken to the hospital, and it wasn’t immediately clear if they died there or earlier.
Hattiesburg Mayor Johnny DuPree says authorities are searching for the suspect. He’s urging residents to stay inside their homes during the search.
The newspaper reports these are the first Hattiesburg officers to die in the line of duty in 30 years.
This is why you should co-operate with police. Too many people talk back, won't answer questions, and scream that their rights are being violated. Cops can't tell if they are dealing with a real threat or just a duckhead.
Two more Americans who have exercised their Right to "keep and bare arms! Makes you proud to live in a Country where two low lives can off two of our finest. Thanks NRA!!!

You're blaming the NRA for the actions of these losers? Seriously?

Makes me sad to live in a country where morons blame tools for the actions of humans!
Yes, morons who automatically blame someone or some organization rather than the killers!
Some would disagree and say the morons are the ones who jump to conclusions without all the facts.
