Yes, both in Atlanta and southern California. For instance, a very fine institution of higher learning in Atlanta is Emory University. Around here we have the Claremont Colleges, USC, and Pepperdine, just to name a few.
Lol, that video had me cracking up so bad. It's just so stereotypical, especially with her accent. It's just one of those things that you accidentally say that is probably the worst things you could have said.

Do you have a problem with people with southern accents? Most of the black people present probably had southern accents too.
Well, NOW we get the full story. The lady wasn't giving the speech, it was the school valedictorian. That is very rude if someone won't listen to his speech. Here is a portion of what the school director said in her apology.
Quote:
To address the incident at the graduation ceremony of May 8. Please keep the facts in perspective. An unknown man at the beginning of a speech decided to walk up to the front of the audience with his tablet, videotaping the audience and the students causing disruption to the audience and disrespect to the ceremony and its participants. When disregarding the request to please sit down, the security was asked to remove the man. At that point, booing of the request commenced. Frustrated with the prospect of ruining the once-in-a-lifetime ceremony the graduates have worked so hard for, my emotions got the best of me and that is when I blurted out "you people are being so rude to not listen to this speech (valedictorian). It was my fault that we missed the speech in the program.
Looks like the whole thing could have been avoided if someone hadn't decided to disrupt the program in the first place.
