All you have to do is look to your boy in the White House currently and you have your answer. The O-boy blows every other President away in terms of being the worst, wake up and do some research here. Wow.

Let me repeat my opinion: I do not think any president will ever be worse than George "W" Bush. Ever.
I agree Bush could have done more to stop the avalanche Clinton started.
As for those devastated investment banks, they never missed a beat.
As soon as they got their paws on all that TARP money, they did what any soulless reptile would do.
Instead of loaning the money out, like they were supposed to do, they went out and bought up the same assets they made near worthless at fire sale prices.

As for Sleepy Summers, I know why Brooksley Born`s career at CFTC came to an end.
What I don`t understand is why he was able to find a job that didn`t involve a large broom and an even larger set of keys.
Not all investment banks survived and in some cases only their names survived. Clearly Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch did more then just miss a beat.
I'm no fan of Summers and was aghast when his name was floated as the next Fed Chair.
Funny thing about linking to article that predicts the future of the economy from 2011. I should have just stopped reading the author wrote "When President Reagan entered office in 1981, he faced actually much worse economic problems than President Obama faced in 2009." That is just a laughable assertion.

The author had no way of knowing in 2011 and probably would have predicted it would be possible with Obama in office, but we are now at 72 months and counting without a recession.

Inflation was not reignited and the dollar is strengthening, of course again he would have no way of knowing that in 2011.
The economy was in complete freefall in 2008-2009. Not only is that not the case in 2015, we're closing in on full employment. Only in LimbaughLand have things gotten worse since the Great Failure left office.
