Boy, they really have pulled the wool over your eyes. CEOs salary is only a small part
of their compensation. Everything they do is billed as an expense to the company.
They fly in corporate jets all around the world and party like king pins for free.
They receive stock options that dwarf their taxable salaries and have offshore holdings.

So?

They paid their dues. They were successful. So why not?

Are you implying that I can't fly my plane where I want? I have the wherewithal to do that. So do CEO's.

Why are you punishing success? Is it because its "unfair" they can and you and others can't?

I disagree. Most of them haven't paid their dues anymore than anyone else.
The system is what enriches them, not their own doing. Your argument flied
pretty good 20 years ago, not anymore. A lot has changed.

Really?

I think you are wrong. How do you know they didn't pay their dues? Is it up to you and your type that dues need to be paid? Pay to who?

What has changed? CEO's are beholden to their shareholders. Don't produce, you are out.

DeBlasio may want to start at home before he goes around the country.
De Blasio medallion delay could be boost yellow cab industry | New York Post
DeBlasio has kept NYC's medallion system for cabs, and these can cost a fortune (too much for any average person wanting to be independent of a company). The medallion system artificially stifles competition, and should be removed.

Funny how out of one side of his mouth he says higher taxes is the answer and then they try to attract business by advertising tax incentives.
Deblasio is pandering.

The notion that poor people exist because of periodic outbreaks of mass laziness is one of the siller characteristics of current right-wing psychosis.

Liberals never honor contracts.

They believe that all contracts are living contracts.

There are still homeless people in NYC. And they will continue to disturb New Yorkers. It is cost less to just put them in shelters than have them harassing people. Or at least smelling up the subways or public. Not to mention it is good to help those that might die in the freezing winters or hot summers. Or help people so they don't starve to death or sent to the ER room costing millions of dollars. I can't believe I am debating why getting homeless people off the street benefits middle class people.

As far as welfare, you can't get welfare unless you work. If anything poor people not on welfare are more likely to be unemployed.
