That happened here in Colorado recently. The attacker was charged with unlawful termination of pregnancy.

A fetus with anencephaly is generally considered nonviable. I terminated a pregnancy at just shy of 22 weeks for this reason. It was not disgusting, ghoulish, or indefensible. It was gut-wrenching and the most difficult decision I have ever made, but I believed and still believe that it was the right thing for me to do under the circumstances.

So the attacker wasn't charged with murder...

Mind you I'm not against abortions early on in pregnancy (or if the woman's life is at risk), but the forumer who would make abortion absolute all the way through 9 months is sickening.

Fortunately the vast, vast, vast majority of women would never engage in such a barbaric practice, even though it is championed by folks on the far left fringe. As demonstrated on this thread.
Neither is your opinion, but here we are listening to it.

This thread is about abortions in the second trimester.

No one decides on a whim to abort during the third trimester. First, there are already laws regulating late-term abortions. Second, women have decided to have the baby if they carry it to the third trimester, the baby is wanted. It is when a woman discovers that she is at risk (yes, women die of complications from pregnancy), or that the baby is severely compromised, that a late-term abortion is considered. These situations are heartbreaking for the parents, and pro-lifers like yourself simply add to the pain with your blithe assumptions about them.
There is NEVER a situation where a fetus must be killed in the third trimester to save a woman's life.

RvW does not differentiate. It simply lays out when and what regulations may be enacted.

Still waiting for someone to explain why the woman needs counseling, really? Oh an answer if Federal law overrides State laws. Guess we would rather argue about something very rarely done, late term abortions.

And you have facts to prove that? No? I didn't think so.

well..probably because we also don't believe in evolution or climate change and we think the world is actually 6,000 years old. Oops! That's conservatives I'm talking about

They have to hold on to the religious right. This is how it's done.
