No serious person says anything remotely close to this. Show me an example. Anyone who says something like this is more than likely going to be a lefty troll who is posing as a conservative.

Take Ted Cruz, who is now the darling of tea partiers and ultraconservatives. He said "I respect Barack Obama" and that he is "deeply principled." The notion you describe exists in your head, and your head only.

If Obama had a white hippie folksinger uncle, he'd look like James Taylor.

I wish celebrities wouldn't talk so much about their political views.

Few people care.

I do like James Taylor's Fire And Rain song, though.

As for James Taylor's opinions about guitars, chord changes, or how to tune a guitar, I'm fine. When it comes to politics, I could care less what Mr. Taylor thinks.

The same holds true for the opinion setters that C-D folks like to point out. Folks like Ted Nugent although I have to say I wouldn't care for either Mr. Nugent's musical opinions or his political ones for that matter.

So why do you give a rats petard about what James Taylor thinks?
Well, since John Kerry dragged him to France...

That is a question that I can not answer. Maybe it is because the media is so celebrity driven?

Always funny to watch people laugh and laugh at someone that is a bit confused in their opinion of great politician and yet at the same time fawn over some of their own that many of them consider perfect examples of great politicians. Must be really expensive living in a glass house when you cannot control your rock throwing compulsion.

Are you kidding me? Do you actually READ this forum. Things like that have been posted daily for years about Barack HUSSEIN Obama. His sin? He is not a conservative! I am not accusing you of this, but there are plenty here to act like he is the antichrist. Sheesh.
