Watchdog: Let's Face It, the Clinton Foundation is Basically a 'Slush Fund' - Guy Benson

The Sunlight Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) devoted to transparency and accountability of government. It's ostensibly non-partisan but seems to have somewhat of a progressive tilt if anything. The official quoted below is a former journalist who also worked at the similarly-oriented Center for Public Integrity.

Quote:
“It seems like the Clinton Foundation operates as a slush fund for the Clintons,” said Bill Allison, a senior fellow at the Sunlight Foundation, a government watchdog group once run by leading progressive Democrat and Fordham Law professor Zephyr Teachout. … The Clinton family’s mega-charity took in more than $140 million in grants and pledges in 2013 but spent just $9 million on direct aid. …
And according to the above link:

Quote:
Between 2011 and 2013, the organization spent only 9.9 percent of the $252 million it collected on direct charitable grants.
That's a remarkably high overhead for a charitable foundation. Charity Naviagator does not rate the Clinton Foundation due to its "atypical business model" which they say is not amenable to their ratings system. None other than George Stephenopoulos said several weeks ago on the Daily Show (before his own donations were exposed) that:

George Stephanopoulos on the ‘Daily Show': Clinton Foundation donors ‘hope’ for benefits - The Washington Post

I gotta chuckle at the moonbats over in 'elections' who keep referring to the GOP 2016 field as a 'clown car.' LOL...I would not want to be a Democratic party loyalist heading into 2016. The party is waist deep in the big muddy right about now....

We don't really care! At least Hillary didn't kill 4500 troops in a false War like invading IRAQ

OMG. Are you serious? You post that you don't care about a corrupt woman being the Democratic nominee for the Presidency? You are fine with letting a crook become the POTUS?

That is a joke right? Hillary voted for and approved of the Iraq war. Hopefully Dems can dump her and find a better candidate.
