My thoughts exactly. That kid creeped me right out. Has potential-school-shooter written all over him.

The girls were probably not doing that during class. Probably just horsing around before the teacher walked in. Just because the hooded kid was sitting, doesn't mean he's "trying to learn". He could be writing a bunch of Eliott Rodgers-esque hate rants.

Anyone think it will look the same?

I've become fascinated looking at some of these gang bangers on Twitter and instagram. It comes as no surprise gangsters aren't stand up guys - but what I see is beyond comprehension. Hundreds / thousands of kids, mostly under 20, riding around or hanging out with ak47's, talking about killing anyone, etc. and this is what they put up for the public to see.
Here is a better question. Would it look that violent if it was a rural, predominantly Black class room in Mississippi or Alabama vs a predominantly Black inner city?

That's actually a good question.

A follow-on question might be whether you are getting your money's worth spending $15,483 per pupil in Baltimore vs. $4600 per pupil in rural Mississippi.

Well, I'm still looking for an answer to the question.

Kids at all ages and of all races misbehave when the teacher is not in the room or when the teacher does not have control.

This is second grade - white children.

aah yes, another case of the "din do nuffin's". You're right, I bet those girls have straight A's in all of their classes, are outstanding at sports and were aspiring rap artists or dancers. They are on their way to an Ivy League education!

Dancing in class is better than arranging dope deals. Looks like the kids were having a bit of fun. OH, I remember school is not supposed to be fun but just basic training for working for some other guy's profit for the rest of your life. I prefer the dancing.

You actually think this was appropriate school behavior?

That behaviour is totally unacceptable in a public school classroom...

Your attitude echos that of the Detroit mayor with her now infamous speech:
