Can you imagine if we kept those money in our own nation, fixed our infrastructure, helped more American people in need, invested in education, and much more. Around $50 billion is giving out in foreign aid every year! Sure, it's nice to help out other countries during natural disasters occasionally, but not all the time!! You forgot to factor in humanitarian aid that runs 4-5 billion a year. Some countries receive both foreign and humanitarian aid. Then you have "Official Development Assistance". There are a host of other aid programs that the US contributes to for various "reasons".
Republicans love to squander trillions in Iraq and soon Iran.
You seem a bit confused as to the topic of the thread. I'm sure there are a few hundred other threads you can go to and bash republicans as being the reason for the US debt.

Wow, something we agree on....a complete waste of money. If we had a budget surplus, maybe I could see it (not really) but to borrow from the Chinese to give to people that have us the definition of idiotic.
