Have they trained us to be so passive, we let them now oppress the people how ever they wish, without being held accountable.
How many have died on US soil, defending their liberty, against oppressive government?
And I'm not even talking the fight for independence or the civil war.
I would and have risked death fighting for my country. Two years in Viet Nam after being sent there.
Who gets to decide how to define "oppressive government"? I know people who think zoning laws are too oppressive and one has even gone to "war" with local government officials before he found himself sitting in jail. Let's be honest here; you're talking about a second Civil War here, not defending our country against foreign invaders.
Well, if that is what you say it will take to return control of our country to the citizens, let's go.

Bush didn't. The congress did. The congressmen, elected by the American people, sent folks to fight in the Middle East.
