I laughed when I heard this on the news. Every few years or even months they come out with these glibal warming rally calls and doom predictions. The earth has not warmed in over 10 years and even if it did the planet works in millenial timeframes.
I just finished hundreds of pages of research for a college paper on global warming. There are thousands of scientists who believe people are causing global warming, thousands more believe it is a natural cycle, and thousands more believe it isn't happening. The most concerning to me, were the ones willing to swear that they had been told to change their opinions by politicians.
The data from NASA says that the Earth cooled from 1940 to 1975. Warmed from 1975 to 1994 and had been almost static since then.
Al Gore predicted that the ice caps would be gone by 2013, but the Arctic cap is 50% bigger now than it was in 2012.
He predicted that the polar bears would die out, but the group that counts them says their population is the biggest it has been in 25 years.
Don't be sheep. read up on everything before you decide what is happening.
Oh, and the temperature sensors some of those groups are using were set out in the wild 35 years ago and have never been recalibrated.
Hundreds of pages of failed research you mean....All you had to do was look at the chart on the site I posted to know what your claim regarding temperature is untrue....Arctic sea ice is the lowest that has ever been recorded for this date....The bulk of the arctic ice cap is on Greenland which has been losing ice at the rate of 500 cubic kilometers per year.

These guys never give up, every week he makes the same claims, even though we have not had any global warming for almost two decades now. Why would we listen to a guy anyway, whose every idea and policy has been a failure?
Global Warming/Climate Change is a great crusade for politicians: they can present a big picture/long term view; it's a good topic to talk about, especially to friendly and neutral audiences (especially academics)...and it naturally appeals to many (how can anyone be against a healthy earth/environment?); action requires large mobilization of re$ource$; BUT can't be 'fixed' in a measurable time frame with visible/demonstrated results worth the effort$... (as opposed to immigration, jobs, and ISIS)
Nevertheless if we do something about it, besides improving children's health, preserving our coastline (resorts, major cities, military bases), it might help with illegal immigration and terrorists...or even the economy (...err, somehow).
How can we wait to act and divert more resources ... maybe our military (?) to it?
In ten or twenty or a hundred years we'll know if it was worth it... n'est-ce pas?

Our Armed Forces agree with him, but hey, don't let that thought sway you from the anti-science doctrine you seem to have swallowed.
