Mick
Rubio and "Other GOP Candidates" are neocons, aka leftist Rockefeller Repubs.--with the exception of officeholders like Paul, Cruz, Lee, Walter Jones, Louie Gohmert, Trey Gowdy.

And Reagan was not. Neocons were forced on Reagan whether he wanted them around or not.

So, heck yeah, those two are lefties.
I predicted that in my OP. We know what they think, theyve said it a thousand times

"communist, feudalistic"? Only on CD.

Question foe the lefties on here, do you consider Obama or Hillary left wing?
By what standards? By international standards they are right of the center. By US standards they are around the center. They both support low taxes, health care based on private insurance, high military spending, attempts to cut corporate taxes. The Brits complain there is no "proper left" in US politics, because on a scale from 1 -12, the Dems are at 6-7 while most of GOP is around 9. They claim Obama is 7-8.

There is no proper Left in American politics

Quote: "And this is the point. There is no Left left in America. There is only the moderate Right, which is most Democrats, and the merged Religious/Financial Right, which is most Republicans."

The article also correctly states: "But the stage will have been set for a Fundamentalist takeover in 2016, when Obama bows out and the Wild Men – and women – of the Right slug it out for the honor of turning America up to Eleven."

Pres. Obama himself has said that Ronald Reagan was his model. I don't think anyone would doubt that Reagan was a persuaded and principled conservative, but also recognized that politics is the art of the possible. Obama took the same approach, just from the other side of the spectrum. While he was on record as supporting socialized medicine, he recognized that it was not politically viable, so he came up with the Centaur that was Obamacare. Similarly Reagan doubtless would have liked a flat tax, but he settled for rate reduction.

It would be no more accurate to call Obama center-right than it would be to call Reagan center-left.
